Sample Preparation
01 Specimen Collection Container
1) Heparin blood collection tube
2) EDTA blood collection tybe
3) Use of a heparin blood collection tube in the case of CYP2D6/2A6
02 Sampling Method
1) Collect the blood in the prescribed container and gently mix it by shaking it up and down before storing.
03 Min. Required Amount
1) At least 500ul (at least 80% of the container volume)
04 Storage Temperature and Period
1) Room temperature: to be received within 24 hours
2) Refrigerated (4℃): to be received within 3 days
3) Frozen (≤-20℃): to be received within 12 months
05 Precautions
1) When collecting a blood sample using a syringe and inserting it into a vacuum collection tube, open the stopper of the vacuum collection tube by hand, remove the needle and gently insert the tip of the syringe against the wall of the tube. Do not use excessive force, as this may lead to hemolysis.
